Beginner Skills

Open to all dogs 4 months old or older.

This is a great introductory class where you will learn how to effectively communicate with your best friend.

Learn about normal canine behavior and how to problem solve to help your dog fit in to our human world. Appropriate household behavior, handler attention, basic obedience and recall covered.

7 weeks, first class without dogs is mandatory.

Prerequisite: No prerequisite for this class.

Advanced Skills

Build on all the skills you've learned in the Beginner Skills class such as faster sits and downs, longer stays, more handler focus; all made more challenging with real-life distractions.

Reliable behaviors from a distance covered. Learn how to use fewer food rewards by effectively utilizing real life rewards.

7 weeks; dogs accompany handlers to all classes.

Prerequisite: Beginner Skills or comparable class at other training centers.

Real World

Take your dog on the road!

Put all your hard work and training to use in the real world.

This class meets in a different dog-friendly location each week. Focus is on appropriate polite behavior in public including loose leash walking, meet and greet people and dogs and settle at an outdoor cafe.

This class is for anyone who likes to take their dog on vacation or out for ice cream with the family.

7 weeks; dogs accompany handlers to all classes.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Advanced Skills.

Ready, Set, Recall!

This class focuses solely on the recall or getting your dog to reliably come to you when you call.

This energetic class is fun for you and your dog. It starts out easy and gradually gets more difficult.

Walk This Way Leash Walking Class

Join me for this 6 week class to teach your dog how to walk on a loose leash wherever you go and have fun while doing it!
